Blue Pack

Blue Pack is actually short for Blue Backpack.  I named my company after a mariachi song in Spanish from the 1970’s called “La De La Mochila Azul” by Pedrito Fernandez.  This song is performed by a child, the son of the legendary Vicente Fernandez.  It’s about his crush on a girl in his class.  “The girl with the blue backpack”.  She is absent from school one day and he worries so much that he can’t concentrate and can’t even complete his schoolwork.

Photography to me is meant to arouse those powerful emotions like when you were a kid.  Not only when you were a kid though.  Pictures of my son when he was born and the first time we took him to the beach before he could even walk give me goosebumps.  Photos are pieces of time preserved forever!
